Larlu continues to invest time and resources in developing products and processes that conserve our natural resources and reduce waste. As an environmentally conscious company, here are a few key accomplishments in this area:

Larlu is a member of Minnesota Waste Wise, an organization that coordinates recyclers and generators to recycle any materials for which there is a demand. An audit determined that Larlu is recycling all materials that are recyclable.
We recycle 80 tons of plastic, scrap tinplate, waste paper and cardboard each year. We also are committed to sourcing materials that are earth friendly including corrugated containers made from 75% recycled paper.
We installed “setback” thermometers to reduce energy consumption during unoccupied hours.
Our lighting is energy efficient, using T8 florescent bulbs that last 30% longer.
Green Partners. Many of our suppliers have similar Green Initiatives and have developed more earth friendly raw materials to support LarLu’s commitment to sound environmental stewardship.
